22days after my birthday, 10/08/08

Sigh. I don't feel like blogging nowadays. Don't know why actually, but i'm not obliged to blog too...

Hmmm, i can't recall what happened during the last time i blogged until now, but i do remember some things, like:
- I haven't opened the birthday present amalina gave me... LOL
- I kept on falling while doing stunts with my skates
- I watched power rangers recently.... oops.
- I slept through the whole National Day, from 3 to 9.... giggles.
- My mother called me a 'wugui' aka turtle, just because i do things slowly. How reliable can it get?

Well, i think that's all i can remember... i think...

Ah, on the 08/08/08, aka National Day eve, aka Opening Ceremony of the Bejing Olympics, the school brought us to the National Museum of Singapore, for a totally new experience on how the school will celebrate National Day in future...

The school also had a National Day celebration, but i don't sense patriotism in the school hall, maybe they don't think it's important - LOL. Soon after, we went for recess, then headed down to the National Museum. It was quite cool being there, and it was beyond what i had expected. I usually thought that museums are quite boring and have those kind of atmosphere that's solemn, but it totally proved me wrong. It was fun, and exciting. Then me and gab and a few others went to pull a prank by scaring the girls. We succeeded, peixin screamed at the top of her voice and we were all laughing and laughing and laughing.... EVIL!!!

After that, we went back to school, and got dismissed from there. I walked with afew others to Tanah Merah MRTstation, and went our separate ways. Since i had nothing to do, i went to Tampines Mall ALONE(sad) to waste time. I went to window shopping - rarely a guy does that - to see if anything catches my eye. Something particular caught my eye; an Idiot's guide to learning GERMAN, from 'Times' bookstore. So, there i was, reading that book, for a whole 1/2-1h before continuing my window shopping.

I wonder if i had an eye for detail. While doing my window shopping, i spotted alot of familiar faces. Like vanessa ang, my primarysch. classmate; shuiting and her church friends, i think; and darren, wei sheng, christel, mitch, alex, malan, and gang, at seoul garden to celebrate alex's birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX! They wanted me to go seoul garden to eat with them, but i said maybe next time. I then went to century square. Still nothing much, so i went back to Tampines Mall, to Fairprice. I went to buy my lemon sorbet, and i wanted to buy the pancake flour, so i can make pancake, but i don't feel like washing dishes, so i thought, maybe next time.

Then i went home, and i watched TV, while enjoying my ice-cream. Nothing much happened later in the day, i think.

09/08/08, aka National Day.

LOL, what patriotism...

i slacked throughout the whole day, falling asleep in the afternoon and waking up after the ending of the national day parade. LOL, what irony from a singaporean. My family and i then went to the nearby cafe - The Bark Cafe - at changi chapel and museum, a less than 100m walking distance from my home; to eat dinner. $60, for 4. Not bad. Wanted to play pool there, but got people using, so maybe next time. Then i came back to watch First Class, its so comical, as it showcases the irony of the singapore schools and the innocent teacher. You may not get what i mean, so catch the show lah!

10/08/08, aka day after National Day.

I went to east coast in the morning to practise my stunts for roller blading. I kept on falling though, but never mind, it proves that i am learning something.
Like the quote saying: " why do we fall? so we can learn to stand up"

There, i'm learning. I learnt quite a few things, like mohog, grapevine 1, grapvine 2, spin stop etc.
Then, i went to tuition at Pasir Ris. Anything happened after that was not unusually.
